The share of Americans ages 55-64 who say they use online dating services has jumped from 6 percent in 2013 to 12 percent in 2015, according to a national survey published Thursday.
Of that 12 percent, most say they are using websites. Use of online dating appears to be growing the most among 18-24-year-olds, nearly tripling over the last two years from 10 percent in 2013 to 27 percent in 2015.

Today 27% of these young adults report that they have done so, up from just 10% in early 2013.
